Welcome to Murder by Candlelight - the website of the Candlelight Theatre Company.

We are the production company behind probably the best Murder Mystery nights in the South West.

We also provide:- TV Presenters,After Dinner Speakers,Actors,Film Extra's and Entertainers.

Our nights are great fun and are ideal for that special night out, for staff parties or for company team builds - after all, what’s better for building a team than solving a nice juicy murder?

We operate in some of the best hotels in the South West - details of the hotels we work with, can be found in the Performances section of this site.

The action begins over pre-dinner drinks and concludes over coffee. While you sit down to a delicious Dinner with a chilled glass of wine, our Actors will lay the clues that you have to unravel.

A MURDER will take place and it is up to you to investigate and accuse a suspect. Guests are encouraged to join in although no one is given a particular character, and its fine by us if all you want to do is sit back and relax and let us perform for you.

Performances are booked directly through the relevant hotel and are usually for groups of between 20 and 120 people. This doesn’t mean you have to find this many people to attend, rather it’s just the average size of the audience.
